Crescent Plus ("the app", "we", "us") is a networking app published by Pantheon Technologies that helps you exchange contact information, manage the people you meet, and follow up with them. This Privacy Policy explains what information Crescent Plus collects, how it is used, and the choices you have regarding your information.

Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

When you create an account, we collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, job title, company, website, address, meeting link, biography, and profile photo.

Contacts You Add

Crescent Plus stores the contact information you choose to add or import, including names, job titles, companies, email addresses, phone numbers, websites, addresses, tags, and private notes. This information remains private to your account unless you intentionally share it.

Business Card Scans

When you scan a paper business card, the image is processed to extract contact information using Google Gemini AI. The scanned information is processed solely to identify and organize contact details. We do not use your business cards or contact information to train our own AI models.

Calendar Data

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Crescent Plus securely stores the authorization tokens required to check your availability and create calendar events on your behalf. We use only the permissions necessary to provide scheduling features and do not access or use calendar information beyond what is required for those features.

Google Workspace API Limited Use Disclosure

Crescent Plus' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Crescent Plus does not use any data received from Google Workspace APIs — whether raw, aggregated, or derived — to develop, train, or improve any machine learning or artificial intelligence models, whether generalized or otherwise, and does not transfer or sell such data to any third party for those purposes. Google Workspace user data is never sent to any AI/ML model or service. The only AI feature in Crescent Plus is business card text extraction, which processes only photographs of paper business cards that you take and does not involve Google Workspace or Google Photos user data in any way.

Notifications and Diagnostics

We collect device push notification tokens so we can send notifications you have enabled. We also collect crash reports and basic diagnostic information through Google Firebase to improve the reliability and performance of the app.

Event Registrations and Purchases

Crescent Plus never sells your personal information. But when you register for an event — free or paid — you become that organizer's attendee, and when you buy a ticket, you become their customer. So your name, email address, and the profile details you have provided (such as phone, company, and job title) are shared with that event's organizer so they can manage attendance, check-in, and event communications, and can serve you as their customer. Organizers can also see your registration and check-in status. Organizers are independent businesses: their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices, not this policy.

When you buy a paid registration, payment is processed by Stripe. Your card or digital-wallet details are collected directly by Stripe and never touch Crescent Plus' servers. We retain only the transaction records needed to issue your ticket and support the organizer — the event, amount, date, and payment status. See Stripe's privacy policy.

If you take part in live event features, other participants may see limited profile information — for example, speed-networking rounds show your name, company, and title to the people seated at your table.

Organizations may maintain a member roster in Crescent Plus (uploaded or synced from their membership system) so their members automatically receive member pricing and access to member-only events. We process roster entries — typically a name, email address, and member ID — only to verify membership for those purposes, on the organization's behalf.

We also count aggregate event activity — views, registrations, and clicks on registration or membership links — and share those totals with the event's organizer. These are counts only; organizers never receive lists of who viewed an event.

Messages, Reports, and Safety Information

When you use messaging, request support, report a user or content, or are the subject of a report, we process the relevant message or content, report category, explanation, account identifiers, timestamps, and technical signals. We may preserve an authoritative snapshot of reported content so authorized operations staff can investigate even if the original is later changed or removed.

Your Public Contact Card

Crescent Plus creates a public contact card webpage that you can share with others using a QR code or link. This page contains only the profile information you choose to publish. It never includes your contacts, private notes, tags, tasks, or other private information.

When another Crescent Plus user shares your contact card with someone else, we notify you.

Invitations

If you invite someone, Crescent Plus may send an email through SendGrid or a text message through Twilio on your behalf containing your name and your public contact card link.

Company Information

Crescent Plus may retrieve publicly available company information, such as logos or company descriptions, using a company's public website based on a contact's email domain or website. No personal information is used for this process.

These providers process information only as necessary to provide the services you request. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Account Connections

If you choose to connect your Google or Microsoft account, Crescent Plus accesses only the permissions you authorize during the connection process. You may revoke Crescent Plus' access at any time through your Google Account, Microsoft Account, or within Crescent Plus if the feature is available.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your account information is retained while your account remains active. Closed support requests and dismissed reports are ordinarily retained for up to two years. Safety cases involving enforcement may be retained for up to five years, and resolved held-message records for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law, security needs, dispute resolution, or a legal hold.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your profile, public contact card, contacts, tasks, private conversations, relationship records, notifications, and owned profile/event images, and withdraws events you created. Safety and enforcement records that must be retained are disconnected from your account and replaced with a pseudonymous identifier where permitted, while relevant evidence may remain for the periods above.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, secure authentication, and access controls designed to limit access to your data to authorized users and services.

Children's Privacy

Crescent Plus is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
